Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Ship Global Express (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Customer” or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Services Offered
Ship Global Express provides shipping, freight handling, cargo coordination, and delivery services for domestic and international clients. We reserve the right to refuse or limit services based on availability, shipment content, payment status, or applicable laws.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure that all shipment information provided is accurate and complete.
Properly pack items to ensure safe transportation.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Pay all fees, duties, taxes, and other applicable charges in full and on time.
Cooperate during any delivery delays, inspections, or administrative holds.
4. Shipping Timelines
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and are subject to factors such as weather, carrier availability, customs, payment delays, and force majeure. Ship Global Express is not liable for damages arising from shipping delays.
5. Insurance & Claims
Customers may request optional insurance coverage for high-value items. Insurance fees must be paid prior to shipment release. Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be filed within 7 business days of delivery or expected delivery date. Supporting documentation must be provided.
6. Additional Charges & Adjustments
Ship Global Express reserves the right to apply additional fees under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
Re-delivery or second-attempt shipping costs
Delays caused by non-payment of required insurance or clearance fees
Administrative costs due to service holds
Address correction or delivery refusal
Extended storage or handling
Example: If a shipment is placed on hold due to the customer’s delay in paying a refundable insurance fee, an additional handling charge may be applied to cover administrative labor, rescheduling, and storage time. These fees will be invoiced separately and are due upon receipt or within the specified payment terms.
7. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Full payment is due prior to shipping
Business accounts may qualify for Net 7 or Net 30 terms
Late payments are subject to a 2% monthly late fee
Invoices unpaid beyond 45 days may be sent to collections
8. Refunds
Refunds will only be issued for services not rendered due to company’s fault. Refundable insurance or security fees will be returned to the client upon successful delivery unless otherwise applied to outstanding balances.
9. Prohibited Items
Customers must not ship:
Hazardous materials
Firearms or ammunition
Live animals
Perishable goods without prior arrangement
Illegally obtained or contraband items
10. Limitation of Liability
Ship Global Express shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. Our maximum liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment or insured amount, whichever is lower.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes must be submitted in writing within 15 business days of the incident. Ship Global Express will investigate and respond within 10 business days. Disputes unresolved through direct negotiation will be handled through arbitration under Illinois law.
12. Governing Law
The laws of the USA govern these Terms. Jurisdiction for legal action will reside in Cook County.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
